If you are considering the conversion of the loft space at your home please contact us. Upon receipt of your initial telephone call an appointment will be made for one of our Design Surveyors to meet with you at your home. During this meeting our Surveyor will discuss with you in detail your requirements relating to your loft conversion and advise on any technical Planning or Building Regulation matters which may affect your proposals.
Following our initial meeting we shall provide a detailed written quotation which is offered without charge or obligation. Our quotation will set out in detail the works which are to be carried out and provide a fixed price.
The Company’s commitment to total quality is underpinned by our high quality directly employed operational staff. Our investment in the most effective and up to date equipment is demonstrated by our fully equipped modern van fleet.
Our design staff will be able to offer specialist advice relating to all elements of the Built Environment including measures aimed at noise reduction, temperature control, thermal insulation and bathroom equipment together with recommending appropriate suppliers and show rooms.
As part of the Company’s commitment to the environment we will, where appropriate, specify materials which are both environmentally friendly and available from a sustainable resource. Selected timber will generally come from managed forests and insulations can be CFC free.
The full resources of the company including an enormous range of technical expertise will be brought to bear on your project resulting in a high quality installation achieved with the minimum of fuss and inconvenience.
Your home will be in safe hands should you choose to commission our company and we look forward to being of service.
Once you have decided to accept our design proposal, our fully experienced team of Designers, Surveying and Architectural staff will carefully guide you through the complex process of obtaining Planning consent, Certificate of Lawful Development and Building Regulation approval. Where appropriate we will prepare and submit detailed structural engineering calculations for approval by your Local Authority Building Control Department.
Upon receipt of consent from the Local Authority you will be provided with a personal works programme detailing the various stages at which key operations will take place together with a commencement date for works.
Our experience of working with Planning Officers, Conservation Departments and local Historical Societies in sensitive areas can enable us to negotiate successful planning approvals in often difficult circumstances, including listed buildings.
As part of our design process client input is welcomed relating to final room layouts, external details and finishes.
