Design and construction of single level basement to include rear conservatory and second floor closet wing extension.

The client had experienced difficulties in obtaining planning consent and was referred to Cranbrook by a colleague.

Having obtained an initial brief Cranbrook promptly obtained planning consent for an ambitious basement to include an increase in the floor to ceiling height at lower ground floor level together with physical extensions of the property.

The client vacated the property for the duration of the construction period as the scope of works included not only the basement but also the reconfiguration and remodelling of the main house.

The Cranbrook team completed both the design and the construction of the works including managing both complex party wall agreements and an active Residents Association
