Design and construction of single level basement forming family media room, steam shower room and storage

Cranbrook were appointed by the client to design and construct a single level basement at this Grade 2* Listed Building

Due to the special status of this heritage asset the Cranbrook site construction team had to adopt specialist techniques to minimise the structural intervention within the host building.

Despite the original house dating back to approximately 1750 the client required a contemporary finish at basement level complete with wide format flooring and digital lighting control.
